SUBJECT: Conveyance of Surplus Real Property

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County is the owner of the Rodeo Community Center located at 199
Parker Avenue, Rodeo. The property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, was
acquired by deed to the County recorded April 8, 1977 in Book 8276 at page 959, Official
Records of Contra Costa County. The property is located within the Rodeo Redevelop-
ment Area and the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency is willing to assume the
maintenance of the facility upon conveyance of title. Said property is DETERMINED to be
surplus and is not required for County use and is required by the Contra Costa County
Redevelopment Agency for redevelopment purposes.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property
to the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency pursuant to Government Code Section
25365 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf
of the County to the Agency.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered
to the grantee.
The Board hereby FINDS that the proposed transfer will not have a significant effect
on the environment, and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California
Environmental Quality Act, State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061 -(b)(3). This Board
DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the
County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the
$25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk.

For valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, CONTRA COSTA
COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of California, GRANTS to the CONTRA
COSTA COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a body corporate and politic existing
under the laws of the State of California, the following described real property in the
unincorporated area of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, described as
follows:
Lots 8, 9, 10 and 11 in Block"3W' as shown on the map of the Town of Rodeo on file in
the office of the County Recorder, County of Contra Costa, on February 5, 1892, in Volume
