SUBJECT: Approve the Allocation of Park Dedication Trust Funds (WO #5192)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to reimburse the West Contra Costa Unified School
District up to $75,500 from the Park Dedication Trust Fund, account 8136/275703630.
FISCAL IMPACT
No General Fund impact.
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
The County Service Area R-9A, EI Sobrante Advisory Committee, and the West Contra Costa
Unified School District Board have requested the allocation of $75,500 in Park Dedication
Trust Funds for ballfield and outdoor stage improvements at De Anza High School. These
needed improvements will enhance the recreation opportunities for the community as well as
the students at De Anza High School. De Anza High School serves the residents in the EI
Sobrante area.
