Dear Mr. Torlakson,
On behalf of the City of Martinez, I respectfully request consideration of allocating existing
Park Dedication Fees in the Martinez sphere of influence accounts, in the amount of
$30,333.99. These funds would be used to place a recreation building in the Alhambra
Valley area of Martinez.
The proposed building would be placed on an Elementary school site that is used as a play
ground for the Elementary school as well as a City park. Joint ventures already in place at
this area are ball diamonds and a par course. The new building will be used for pre-school
programs, instructional fee classes and Community rentals.
Your consideration of this request is appreciated.
Respectfully,
