HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11021993 - 1.4 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on November 2, 1993, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/ 662 (Gov. Code § 25526.5) SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property (St. Marys Road) Project No. 0662-6U4325; CP#93-40 Lafayette Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by deed which recorded July 7, 1961, in Lafayette, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for road purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000.00. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said property to AUSTIN and DIANE HURST, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County in consideration for the payment received in full in the amount of $5,000, the estimated fair market value of the property. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to the grantee. The Board reviewed and approved the project on September 14, 1993, and determined the project to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption. A Notice of Exemption was filed with the County Clerk on September 16, 1993. This activity has been found to conform to the General Plan of the City of Lafayette.
