SUBJECT. ACCEPT QUITCLAIM DEED, DRAINAGE AREAS 29C, 29D, 29H AND 29J - OAKLEY AREA

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
ACCEPT Quitclaim Deed dated November 2, 1993 from the Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District and DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the
above referenced Deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder.
II. Financiallmpact:
None.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The Flood Control District is currently the owner of several property interests required for
Drainage Areas 29C, 29D, 29H and 29J. This action is necessary to properly vest these
interests with the County.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Title to certain Drainage Areas 29C, 29D, 29H and 29J property interests will continue to
vest incorrectly with the Flood Control District.
