RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #24-602-6, effective September 30, 1993 , with Seneca Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children, to extend Novation Contract #24-602-5, from September 30, 1993 through December 31, 1993 , with a $41, 250 increase in the contract payment limit, for provision of intensive day treatment for County-referred minors. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded in the Health Services Department's FY 1993-94 budget (Org. #5952) by County funds budgeted for the psychiatric treatment of minors. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: On September 22 , 1992 , your Board approved Novation Contract #24-602-5 with Seneca Residential and Day Treatment Center for Children, for the period from July 1, 1992 through June 30, 1993 , with a FY 1992-93 payment limit of $165, 000. This Contract includes an automatic three- month extension through September 30, 1993 , with an extension period payment limit of $41, 250. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #24-602-6 will extend the Contractor's services for an additional three months.
