HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10051993 - H.2 N � THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on October 5, 1993 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, Torlakson and McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/588 SUBJECT: Pipeline Franchise to Chevron USA The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County Resolves that: This Board on September 14, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93/545 declaring its intention to grant a franchise pursuant to Ordinance No. 1827 (as amended by Ordinance No. 79/50 and Ordinance No. 92/64) in the manner provided by law and more particularly referred to in the "Notice of Sale of Franchise" attached to and made part of Resolution No. 93/545. The Board fixed October 5, 1993, as the date for public hearing regarding this franchise grant. On October 5, 1993, the public hearing regarding this matter was held. No protests were filed. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that a franchise to operate pipelines on certain County rights-of-way as described below pursuant to Ordinance No. 1827 (as amended by Ordinance No. 79/50 and Ordinance No. 92/64) is hereby granted to Chevron USA: One (1) 12-inch steel, dry natural gas pipeline, and one (1) 2-inch steel, condensate gas pipeline along Nichols Road from it's intersection with Port Chicago Highway northerly until exiting into the right-of-way of the AT & SF railroad (lineal distance approximately 1140 feet each).
