Community Development will work with PG&E to ensure a diversity of
booths which will assist small, medium and large businesses in
managing their environmental programs.
This is an excellent opportunity to address environmental issues
through a public/private partnership. PG&E has been a leader in
developing energy efficient programs for businesses, and has
expressed interest in continuing to work with County staff to
include recycling and other environmental issues, in their
programs. This expo supports PG&E's goals, and local businesses
that provide equipment or services to help meet those goals. By
including recycling, the expo supports the County's efforts to
attain its AB 939 goals.
