j III. BACKGROUND
On June 9, 1992 the Board of Supervisors authorized approval
to conduct contract negotiations and authority to sign Title
III Older Americans Act contracts for the Office on Aging.
On November 23 , 1992 the Office on Aging received an
amendment no. 1 to the California Department of Aging
Standard Agreement No. 29-002-80, which the Board approved on
June 23 , 1992 . The amendment allocates one-time-only funding
and increased the Federal revenue for programs operated under
the two contracts identified above.
