HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02021993 - 1.36 f r 3 =_ Contra TO: REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY / s Costa FROM: Phil Batchelor �Ou / � I "y Executive Director DATE: February 2, 1993 SUBJECT: Rental Agreement - Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Project No. 7891-6X5536 SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS (S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS AUTHORIZE the Redevelopment Director or his designee to EXECUTE on behalf of the Agency an amended rental agreement with Robert Jensen for the premises at 3123 Wayside Lane, Walnut Creek. FISCAL IMPACT The Redevelopment Agency will receive some revenue from the short term rental of properties purchased for the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency Area 4 project. These revenues will be netted against relocation costs relating to the project. BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS The Redevelopment Agency acquired the land and improvements located at the above address for use in the Area 4 Redevelopment. In doing so, the occupants of each 'dwelling became eligible for relocation assistance. On December 15, 1992 the Agency authorized execution of a Rental Agreement with Robert Jensen. Further dialogue with Mr. Jensen and his family require minor amendments. It is necessary to enter into the rental agreements to cover the .period of occupancy subsequent to the Agency taking title and prior to the occupants' relocation.
