Recommended Action: A. APPROVE Right of Way Contract and ACCEPT Grant Deed dated February 2, 1993, from Elena Canepa. B. AUTHORIZE Public Works Director to execute said Right of Way Contract on behalf of the County. C. APPROVE payment for said property rights and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the amount of $2,300 payable to Elena Canepa, 320 Blueberry Drive, Santa Cruz, CA., 95066, to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery. D. DIRECT the Real Property Division to have above-referenced Grant Deed recorded in the Office of the County Recorder. II. Financial lmpact: Payment totalling $2,300 from Oakley/North Brentwood Area of Benefit funds. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: This acquisition is required for the horizontal and vertical alignment of Oakley Road between Live Oak and Empire Avenue in the Oakley area. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
