Supervisor Tom Torlakson Chair , Contra Costa County Board of .Supervisors Dear Tom; With the passage of Proposition 171 DISASTER PROPERTY TAX RELIEF by the voters of California earlier this month, we as a family devestaced by the Oakland Fire Storm of October 1991 have relocated to Contra Costa County. Having lost three generations of family keepsakes along with our home and all the memories .it was too difficult to even consider . re-building in the Oakland area. We , as I am sure all disaster victims who have relocated to another California County are looking forward to your early favorable vote to allow us to have our property tax base adjusted back to reflect the Proposition 13 status we had in our home in Oakland that was built in 1979. Thank you and all your collagues for your favorable support on:!.t*hir:;m2.tter. i.t7. incerely, (340 - ROBERT W.
