SUBJECT: Conveyance;of Surplus Real Property
Drainage Area 40A - Line A
Project Work Order #8413
Martinez Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired an interest in real property for Drainage Area 40A,
Line A, in the Martinez area, by Grant of Easement recorded May 24, 1983 in Book 11264
at page 715, Official Records, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for drainage
purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for
County or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000.00.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said interest
to Laurence A. Lowell, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Board
Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be
delivered to the grantee.

A portion of the unincorporated area of Rancho Las Juntas, Contra Costa County, Califom'ia, being
a portion of Lots 6, 7 and 8 of Block 3 of Martinez Oak Knoll Tract filed November 22, 1915 in Book
14 of Maps at page 292, further described as follows:
All of that parcel of land described as Right of Way PARCEL 1119A-T in the Grant of Easement to
Contra Costa County.recorded May 24, 1983 in Volume 11264 of Official Records at page 715.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: That portion of PARCEL 1119A described in the Grant of Easement to
Contra Costa County recorded May 24, 1983 in Volume 11264 of Official Records at page 715 and
lying within PARCEL 1119A-T.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM: Ail of PARCEL 1119 described as follows:
Commencing at a street monument on the centerline of Santa Fe Avenue that bears south 0°05'15"
west 456.35 feet from the street monument marking the centerline intersection of Santa Fe Avenue
and Almond Street; thence south 4°42'35" east 298.94 feet to the Point of Beginning on the west
line of said Lot 7; thence from the Point of Beginning, along said west line, south 0005'15"west 7.00
feet, to the northwest corner of said Lot 8; thence along the west line of Lot 8, south 0°05'15"west
13.21 feet;thence leaving said west line, north 52025'35"east 99.48 feet,to a point on the southwest
fine of PARCEL 1119A described in the easement to Contra Costa County recorded May 24, 1983
in Volume 11264 of Official Records at page 715 (said point bears north 48024'03" west 4.35 feet
from the south comer of PARCEL 1119A); thence along said southwest line, north 48°24'03" west
