SUBJECT: RELOCATION CLAIM - DRAINAGE AREA 105 - BRENTWOOD AREA

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
A. APPROVE Relocation Claim for $4,500.00 submitted by David Bloomfield.
B. AUTHORIZE the Principal Real Property Agent to sign said claim on behalf of the District.
C. AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check for $4,500 to David Bloomfield, 6199
Sellers Avenue, Oakley, CA., 94561, to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery.
II. Financial Impact:
$4,500 from Drainage Area 105 funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The District acquired a portion of the claimants property for construction of the Deer Creek
drainage basin. The payment of $4,500 is for relocating the claimants possession to an other
property ($2,000) and the purchase of 20 pallets of produce boxes, packaging material, etc.,
purchased in bulk in lieu of moving them to new location ($2,500).
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
District would be in violation of the State of California Uniform Relocation and Acquisition laws.
