Clean Air (AB 434 ) for the San Pablo Dam Road Signal
Interconnect Project.

SUBJECT: Crockett Cogeneration Project
The Board received a letter dated November 4, 1992, from
Kent G. Peterson, Secretary, Crockett Improvement Association,
P. O. Box 132, Crockett 94525, asking the Board to rescind its vote
regarding endorsement of the Cogeneration Project and a community
benefits package, and requesting the Board to designate the
Crockett Improvement Association as sponsor of a Town Meeting on
the subject of community benefits.
The Board received correspondence dated November 17, 1992 ,
from the Crockett Advisory Committee, providing an update on their
activities regarding the benefits package and a town meeting held
on November 9 that provided for public comment on this matter. It
was noted that after the public comment period, the Advisory
Committee voted to accepted the benefits package.
The Board received a November 17, 1992 , letter from John T.
Miller, Vice President, Business Development, Energy National, Inc.
500 NE Multnomah Street, Suite 900, Portland, Oregon 97232-2039,
commenting on the process of soliciting public input relative to
the Crockett Cogeneration Project and the Board' s resolution of
November 3 , 1992 , relative to the Project. Mr. Miller urged the
Board to leave its adopted resolution undisturbed.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the above referenced
correspondence is REFERRED to the County Administrator.
