Rainey, County Sheriff-Coroner, to the California Assembly, the following letters were received expressing support for the Board to appoint Assistant Sheriff Warren Rupf to fill the duration of Sheriff Rainey' s term: a) Deidre Robinson, Executive Board, Contra Costa Black Deputies for Better Community Relations, P. O. Box 768, Martinez 94553 ; b) Gerald T. Mitosinda, Assistant Sheriff, on behalf of all Sheriff' s Department management; c) Richard K. Rainey, Sheriff-Coroner; d) Lloyd G. Madden, President, Black Employees' Association, Contra Costa County; e) Carl D. Carey, President, Deputy Sheriff ' s Association, 1780 Muir Road, Martinez 94553 ; and f) Steven A. Roberti, Executive Secretary, Central Labor Council of Contra Costa County AFL-CIO, P. O. Box 389, Martinez , 94553 . The Board agreed to interview Assistant Sheriff Warren Rupf in public at its November 24, 1992, meeting at 2 p.m. in the Board Chambers.
