ATC provides medical care during withdrawal, education•; counseling and support not only to the identified patient suffering from substance abuse, but to the entire family. John Muir Hospital Board of Directors has elected to close the Adoles- cent Treatment Center on December 1, 1992. Staff layoff's will occur to that date.
