SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS 1. In accord with the San Ramon Valley Regional Planning Commission recommendation for this 1, 143 acre site, wherein it recommended certification of the adequacy of the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Wiedemann Ranch Residential Community project: A. FISCAL IMPACT None. BACKGROUNDIREASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION On October 27 , 1992 the Board of Supervisors conducted a public hearing on the recommendation of the San Ramon Valley Regional Planning Commission to certify the adequacy of the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Wiedemann Ranch Residential Community and to approve the 370-unit project. After taking testimony, the Board closed the hearing and directed that this Board Order be issued to certify the adequacy of the Final EIR. Concomitantly, the Board continued the review of the project to its November 17 , 1992 meeting for decision.
