Spooner, Contracts Administrat COSta DATE: October 15, 1992 �u SUBJECT: Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-159-1 with Rape Crisis Center SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Chair, Board of Supervisors, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #23-159-1 with Rape Crisis Center, to amend Contract #23-159 (effective August 1, 1992 through August 31, 1992) , to extend the Contract through November 17, 1992 and to increase the Contract payment limit by an additional $22, 053 , from $6, 726 to a new total payment limit of $28, 779. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded by Enterprise I in the Health Services Department's FY 1992-93 Budget. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: On September 11, 1992 , your Board directed the Health Services Director to extend the County' s Contract (#23-159) with Rape Crisis Center through November 17, 1992 and to increase the Contract Payment Limit by $22 , 053 . Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #23-159-1 will allow continuation of Contractor's crisis intervention and in-person advocacy services for another two and one-half months, pending the outcome of the vote on Measure B.
