In the Matter of the Alhambra )
Valley S=ific Plan )
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVE:
There is filed with this Board and its Clerk, a copy of Resolution No. 14-1992 adopted by the
Planning Commission of Contra Costa County, discussing a specific plan for the Alhambra Valley
area.
On October 6, 1992, this Board held a hearing on said amendment as discussed by the County
Planning Commission Resolution No. 14-1992. Notice of said hearing was duly given in the manner
required by law. The Board, at the hearings called for testimony of all persons interested in this
matter
The Board hereby finds that the proposed specific plan will not have a significant impact on the
environment because the proposed plan provides refined policy guidance to existing County General
Plan; the plan also establishes stricter environmental standards for the protection of the area's
hillsides and creek resources. An Environmental Initial Study and Negative Declaration was prepared
and adopted by the Board for the Alhambra Valley Specific Plan. These actions satisfy the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and County CEQA Guidelines.
The Board members, having fully considered this specific plan, discussed in Resolution No. 14-1992,
hereby adopts the Alhambra Valley Specific Plan, which includes the County Planning Commission
recommended changes relating to hillside protection and additional changes related to parkland
designations.
