Jung SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve and authorize the Chair to execute on behalf of the County, Standard Contract #26-250-1 with Kathryn D. Jung in the amount of $70, 212 for the period from September 1, 1992 through August 31, 1993 for consultation and technical assistance with regard to Merrithew Memorial Hospital administrative matters. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding for this contract is included in the Health Services Department Enterprise I budget for FY 1992-93 . III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: The County Administrator approved, and the Purchasing Agent executed, Short Form. Service Contract #26-250 with Kathryn D. Jung for the period from May 11, 1992 through August 31, 1992, for consultation and technical assistance to the Department's Division of Hospital and Clinics with regard to such projects as the'Picker-Commonwealth Grant and implementation of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Plan. Approval of Standard Contract #26-250-1 will allow the Contractor to continue her administrative support services for twelve more months.
