in the amount of$151,000 which was the estimated cost provided by SFPP. The work has been
completed. However, due to unexpectedly high groundwater, the Contractor for SFPP was
required to perform extra work which included installation of additional sheet piling, a pumping
system and 24-hour monitoring.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The petroleum pipeline has already been relocated. If the purchase order is not amended for
the increased amount, the Flood Control District will fail to meet its legal obligation.
