Sanitation District No. 6, Martinez area The Board this day approved Resolution No. 92/57 forming C.C.C. Sanitation District No. 6 in the Martinez area, and in connection therewith, the Board requested the Public Works Director to bring back to the Board within 30 days, an Engineer' s Report, an ordinance that will establish the fees for the fiscal year 1992/1993 , an agreement from the developer to bear the costs of the operation of the system from the date the system is accepted by the Sanitation District to June 30, 1992 , and also a $50, 000 letter of credit to insure that there is enough money to operate the system for the next three years. No. ) RESOLUTION NO. 92/57 6 (Martinez Area) ) (Health & Saf . Code, (LAFC 91-21 ) ) § 4730 . 1 (a) ( 1 ) , Gov. Code, §§ 57082, 56375 (h) 1 . This resolution is for the formation of a county sanitation district and is adopted pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Act (Gov. Code, §§ 56000 - 57550 ) . 2 . New District shall be known as the Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 6 , formed pursuant to authority of the County Sanitation District Act, Health and Safety code sections 4700 et seq. 3 . The purpose of the new sanitation district is to provide sanitary sewer services to the residents of the District. 4 . The territory to be formed into the District is the .Stonehurst area , more particularly described in Exhibit A hereto. 5 . The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County shall be the governing board of the District . 6 . The regular county assessment roll will be used to collect any taxes that might be collected in the new District at any time in the future. However, it is contemplated that the District will be supported solely by user fees , which will not be proceeds of taxes within the meaning of Government Code section 7901 (i ) . 7 . As determined by the Local Agency Formation Commission, there are no registered voters presently residing in the subject territory. 8 . On February 11, 1992, this Board held a noticed public hearing on this proposal . No persons appeared in opposition and no protests were filed. 9 . This proposal was initiated by the developer-owner of the subject territory, and no registered voters reside in the territory. Therefore, no election need be held. Now, therefore, this Board hereby approves and orders the formation of Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 6 . The Clerk of this Board shall transmit a copy of this resolution, along with applicable filing fees, to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission.
