THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on January 28, 1992 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson and McPeak
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

SUBJECT: Policy Advisory Committee for AC Transit' s Alternative
Modes Analaysis
The Board received a January 10 , 1992 letter from John
Woodbury, President of the Alameda-Contra Costa (AC) Transit District,
advising that AC Transit is begining a study of its most heavily used
corridors, said study to be called the "Alternative Modes Analysis, "
and requesting a designee from the Board of Supervisors of Contra
Costa County to serve on a Policy Advisory Committee therefor. Mr.
Woodbury further advised that the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) will
provide valuable counsel and advice to the Board of Directors as they
make important decisions and it is anticipated that the PAC will meet
about six times over the next nine months.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that Supervisor Powers is
designated as the Board' s appointee to serve on the above Policy
Advisory Committee.
