This is a top priority project for District V and the Board of Supervisors. Also, what is the exact status of the efforts by Community Development and Waste Management in relation to the condition to extend treated water in conjunction with the Marsh Canyon landfill project? There is a long history of efforts to address the need to extend water service to the mobile home park. It is my understanding that the final staff, report is in from the State Bond Financing Department and that the matter is set for decision within 60 days. It is imperative that the Health Department meet with the Contra Costa Water District staff before this timeframe is up to make sure all parties have a common, unified plan--that assures the extension to the mobile home park and other properties nearby as appropriate.
