Remove this item as a referral to our Committee and instead refer it to the 1992 Internal Operations Committee. 2 . Request the Community Development Director to respond to the questions raised by the Board of Supervisors on September 171 1991 by reporting on this matter to the 1992 Internal Operations Committee on February 24, 1992 . BACKGROUND: On September 17, 1991, the Board of Supervisors approved recommendations from our Committee requesting additional data from the Community Development Department on the Resource Recovery Programs and Budgets of the County and each incorporated city, specifically in terms of possible areas of overlapping and duplication, what the cities have requested the County to collect for them in the way of tipping fees for AB 939 Programs from the 80 cents identified for this purpose and what the County' s budgets are for resource recovery programs and AB 939 activities. Staff filed the attached report with our Committee on January 6, 1992, asking for some additional time to complete their review of the plans which have been submitted to the County and to assembly and analyze the requested data. Staff indicated that the data could be available by the end of January or the first part of February, 1992 . We have, therefore, recommended that this item be referred over to the 1992 Internal Operations Committee to hear on February 24, 1992 .
