BACKGROUND:
Originally, these contracts were extended for the month of July
thinking that the state budget would have been passed and the
status of the state funds would be known. The FACT Committee has
reviewed the revenues and costs for FY 91/92 and has estimated that
there will be enough carry-over and revenue from birth certificates
and Trust donations that sufficient funding will be available to
cover these two additional months and recommends that services not
be interrupted.
