SUBJECT: Amendment to Disposition and Development Agreement between the
Contra Costa County Redevelopment and Lenheim and Mitchell, Inc.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve an Amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement
(DDA) between the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency (Agency)
and Lenheim and Mitchell, Inc. (Developer) and authorize the Executive
Director or his designee to execute the Amendment.
FISCAL IMPACT
None.
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
On September 24, 1991, the Board and Agency approved the DDA Between
the Agency and Developer. The subject of the DDA is the development
of seven (7) single-family homes in the North Richmond Redevelopment
Project Area.
The Developer and Agency are finalizing development conditions and the
Developer has asked the DDA to be amended to extend the term of the
Promissory Note from nine (9) to twelve (12) months in order to be
consistent with all other notes. The subject amendment will also
allow the Redevelopment Director to make subsequent nonmaterial
amendments and technical corrections to the DDA.
