SUBJECT: Resolution and Notice of Intention
to Exchange Real Property with
Color Spot, Inc.
Portion of Assessor's Parcel No. 408-170-061
Project No. 7567-6D8632, Wildcat Creek Project
North Richmond Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to exchange with Color Spot, Inc., County owned real property
in the North Richmond area, described in the attached Notice of Intention to Exchange
Real Property for land of equal value adjacent to the County's property acquired for the
Wildcat Creek project in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Exchange
Agreement on file in the Public Works Department.
The financing plan approved by the Board of Supervisors for the Wildcat-San
Pablo Creek project recommended that government agencies owning lands adjacent to
the project donate the needed rights of way for project use. The West County Sanitary
District, City of Richmond, County Housing Authority, and Richmond Unified School
District have already donated lands to the project. The Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District and Color Spot, Inc., entered into an Exchange
Agreement to provide right of way for the Wildcat Creek project. The County, in fulfilling
its contribution to this project, is conveying surplus property to Color Spot, Inc., for
property previously conveyed by Color Spot, Inc.,to the Contra Costa County Flood Con-
trol and Water Conservation District.
This property is not required for County use and the exchange is for property of
equal value.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time
and place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached Notice
published one time, at least one week preceding the date set for hearing in the Contra
Costa Times, a newspaper of general circulation (pursuant to Government Code Section
6061).
