SUBJECT: Schiermeyer Consulting Services Agreement

SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to increase the payment limit in the Schiermeyer
Consulting Services Agreement by $3,700.
II. Financial Impact:
There will be no impact to the County General Funds. The additional $3,700 fee, for a total
payment limit of $28,500, will come from the Navy Mitigation Funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The additional funds are needed to allow the consultant additional travel to present the findings
of the study to various committees beyond the original scope of work. The Transportation
Committee has reviewed and approved this increase.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
Consultant would not be available for project presentations at the various rail study forums.
