HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02141992 - 1.17 /7 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Honoring the ) CLAYTON VALLEY ALL STAR ) RESOLUTION NO. 92/ 19 CHEERLEADERS for Winning the ) National High School Cheerleading ) Championship ) In December 1991 , the Clayton Valley All Star Cheerleaders brought home the first place title from the National High School Cheerleading Championship. The competition took place in Dallas, Texas, with 37 teams participating in the senior division. With much hard work and determination, the All Stars ' expertise and enthusiasm prevailed and the title was theirs. The win would not have been possible without the leadership of Coach Kathy Gaffney and her staff and community and parental support. Congratulations go to the girls on the squad: Kerri Beckman, Leigh Carver, Amy Henriques, Keri Henriques, Heather Del Prado, Anitra Gasoway, Katie LeBouef, DeeCee Bonilla, Ali Matsahara, Danielle Quilantang, Mary Furry, Kristina Hendry, Kristin Gadnek, KayCee Kasprick, Marianne Kazami, Elizabeth Eddy, Jennifer Sullivan, Genniffer Williams, and Wendie Crabaugh. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors the Clayton Valley All Star Cheerleaders for winning the National High School Cheerleading Championship and commends them on their community spirit.
