HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02141992 - 1.11 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT Adopted this Order on JANUARY 14, 1992 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson and McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION NO. 92/24 SUBJECT: APPROVE DEPOSITS BY FLOOD CONTROL ZONES 1 AND 313, AND DRAINAGE AREAS 40A, 48C, 76A, 1.010, AND 1:010A TO THE FLOOD CONTROL REVOLVING FUND AND . LOANS FROM THE FUND TO DRAINAGE AREAS 29H, 48B, AND 105, COUNTYWIDE WHEREAS the following entities have funds that are temporarily not needed and are available for deposit into the Flood Control District Revolving Fund: Flood Control Zone 1 $ 60,000 Flood Control Zone 3B 210,000 Drainage Area 40A 300,000 Drainage Area 48C 160,000 Drainage Area 76A ' 60,000 Drainage Area 1010 100,000 Drainage Area 1010A 40.000 TOTAL: $930,000 WHEREAS the following entities need loans in the amount indicated: Drainage Area 29H 550,000 Drainage Area 48B 350,000 Drainage Area 105 30.000 TOTAL: $930,000 WHEREAS a Revolving Fund loan to Drainage Area 29H is required to fund the construction of a regional storm drain along Highway 4 in Oakley prior to widening of the highway;. and WHEREAS a Revolving Fund loan to Drainage Are 48B is required to fund the construction of a regional storm drain along Willow Pass Road in conjunction with the widening of the road; and WHEREAS a Revolving Fund loan to Drainage Area 105 is needed to complete funding for the Deer Creek Detention Basin acquisition; and RESOLUTION NO. 92/24 Revolving Fund and Loans January 1-4, 1992 Page Two WHEREAS said loans shall be repaid to the depositing entities within three years from the date of disbursement from the fund from monies available to said entities through drainage fees and the repayments shall include interest on the unpaid balance, at 5.13 percent per annum, which is the current rate received on similar types of investments by Contra Costa County as determined by the County Treasurer; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, as the Governing Board of Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, that said deposits and loans are approved.
