THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

SUBJECT: Closed Session
The Chairman announced that a closed session would be held in
accordance with the parameters as set forth in the attached
announcement. I
At 10: 20 a.m. the Board recessed into closed session in Room
105 of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez.
At 11: 15 a.m. the Board reconvened and continued with the
regular agenda.
At the conclusion of the morning session, the Chair announced
that following the lunch break the Board would reconvene in Closed
Session at. 1: 30 p.m. in Room 106 of the County Administration
Building, and continue with its review of issues as noted in the
attached announcement.
At 2: 27 p.m. 'the Board reconvened and continued with the
afternoon session of the agenda.

A-1 . This Board will hold a closed session with its designated
representatives concerning employee salaries and compensation and
to consider employee appointment, employment, evaluation of
performance, or dismissal .
B-1 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code § 54956 . 9, subdivision:
(b) , Significant exposure to litigation.
(c) Decided or deciding to initiate litigation.
C-1 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code § 54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(a) Litigation initiated formally. The titles of the
litigation are:
1 . City of Pleasant Hill v. County of Contra Costa

al .
