RESOLUTION NO.92/836
Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
Bay Cablevision
WHEREAS on November 22, 1968 and February 3, 1969, the Board
granted nonexclusive licenses to Bay Cablevision to construct,
operate and maintain a community antenna television system within
a certain area of Contra Costa County ( "County" ) in accordance with
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above-described licenses expire
on December 31, 1992;
WHEREAS Bay Cablevision desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the
County Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will
not be completed prior to December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS the County and Bay Cablevision desire to extend the
above-described licenses to facilitate completion of the proposed
amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to Bay Cablevision is extended to March 31, 1993 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the
same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations,
presently applicable to the licenses, including all provisions of
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.

Subject: Extension of Cable Television License Granted to
Century Communications Corporation
WHEREAS on November 22, 1968 and February 3, 1969, the Board
granted nonexclusive licenses to Century Communications Corporation
to construct, operate and maintain a community antenna television
system within a certain area of Contra Costa County ( "County") in
accordance with Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above-described licenses expire
on December 31, 1992;
WHEREAS Century Communications Corporation desires to renew
its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the
County Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will
not be completed prior to December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS the County and Century Communications Corporation
desire to extend the above-described licenses to facilitate
completion of the proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to Century Communications Corporation is extended to
March 31, 1993 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the
same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations,
presently applicable to the licenses, including all provisions of
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.

operate and maintain a community antenna television system within
a certain area of Contra Costa County ( "County" ) in accordance with
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above-described licenses expire
on December 31, 1992;
WHEREAS Concord TV Cable desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the
County Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will
not be completed prior to December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS the County and Concord TV Cable desire to extend the
above-described licenses to facilitate completion of the proposed
amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to Concord TV Cable is extended to March 31, 1993 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the
same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations,
presently applicable to the licenses, including all provisions of
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.

a certain area of Contra Costa County ( "County" ) in accordance with
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code;
WHEREAS the above-described licenses expire
on December 31, 1992;
WHEREAS United Artists Cable desires to renew its license;
WHEREAS County is in the process of preparing and considering
amendments to its Cable Television Ordinance (Division 58 of the
County 'Ordinance Code) ;
WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will
not be completed prior to December 31, 1992; and
WHEREAS the County and United Artists Cable desire to extend
the above-described licenses to facilitate completion of the
proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to United Artists Cable is extended to March 31, 1993 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this extension is granted upon the
same terms and conditions, and subject to the same limitations,
presently applicable to the licenses, including all provisions of
Division 58 of the County Ordinance Code.

WHEREAS it is anticipated that the proposed amendments will ,

WHEREAS the County and Viacom Cablevision desire to extend the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above-described
license to Viacom Cablevision is extended to March 31, 1993.
