THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on December 15, 1992 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers, Torlakson and Schroder
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Fanden and McPeak
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Authorizing the Public Works Director to Arrange for Completion . of
Improvements, Subdivision 7330, Oakley Area. Work Order #8540.
The Board on October 16, 1990, having approved a Subdivision Agreement with
Hillside Park Partners, a California Limited Partnership, effective October 16, 1990, for
construction of certain improvements in Subdivision 7330, Oakley area.
The Public Works Director having reported that the developer has failed to
satisfactorily complete.the work as required by said agreement.
The Public Works Director having recommended that he be authorized to arrange
for completing the work, estimated to be $878,300, plus the cost of preparing plans and
specifications, solicitation of bids, and any cost involved in recovering monies from
Developers' Insurance Company (Bond No. 202995S in the amount $869,500 for faithful
performance), using the $8,800 cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 179756, dated
October 1, 1990) made by California Homes to help defray the County's cost.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the recommendation of the Public Works
Director is APPROVED.
