MICHAEL WALFORD, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: November 19, 1991 SUBJECT: STATUS AND EXPENSE REPORT FOR THE FOURTH QUARTER AND TOTAL FISCAL YEAR 1990-91, CANYON LAKES GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: ACCEPT the Canyon Lakes G.H.A.D. Quarterly Status and Expense Report for the Fourth Quarter and total Fiscal Year 1990-91. II. Financial Impact: None III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: During the fourth quarter the District continued installation of various grading & drainage systems to more properly stabilize and drain some areas of sub-surface & surface water. The expenses for all construction work for the entire fiscal year ($109,224.43) was approximately 87% of the original annual budget ($125,000). This included the rather heavy expenses for construction during the first two quarters of this fiscal year.
