SUBJECT: LEASE OF CORPORATE HANGAR SITE AT BUCHANAN FIELD AIRPORT
SPECIFIC REQUESr(S)OR RECONIt MATTON(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director to EXECUTE a Lease with Roger Picchi for the lease of
a corporate hangar site at Buchanan Field Airport.
Il. Financial Impact:
Rent during the first full year after construction is completed will be $20,625.00 and shall be
deposited into the Airport Enterprise Fund.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
A Lease has been negotiated with Roger Picchi, as an individual, for the development of a
corporate hangar at the Buchanan Field Airport. The lease will be for a term of 30 years and
will include an initial rental rate of$.55 per square foot per year for 37,500 square feet of space.
Cost of living escalations in rent shall begin on the first day of the thirteenth (13th),month of this
Lease term and annually, thereafter.
