MICHAEL WALFORD, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: OCTOBER 8, 1991 SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO EXISTING MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HODGES & SHUTT SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECONIIVI MATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE Public Works Director to negotiate amendment to existing miscellaneous services agreement with Hodges & Shutt. 11. Financial Impact: None. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The Public Works Department has an existing miscellaneous services agreement with Hodges & Shutt. This has a current limit of$20,000.00. The Airport is in the final stages of development of a project under the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) utilizing federal funds. This project . grant was received by the Board of Supervisors on September 17, 1991. Hodges & Shutt has been proceeding with engineering work on this project under our miscellaneous services agreement. All work done by Hodges & Shutt to date will be reimbursable under the grant. The Public Works Department is in the process of soliciting Statements of Qualification as required by the Federal Aviation Administration. As soon as the selection is completed the Public Works Department will request reimbursement under project for funds all ready expended.
