SUBJECT: Fix Hearing Date for Public Input on Merger of County Sanitation District No. 15 with
Oakley Sanitary District
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
FIX October 15, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. for hearing on the concept of merging Contra Costa County
Sanitation District No. 15 (Bethel Island with Oakley Sanitary District and the formation of three
County Service Areas for the operation and maintenance of the three domestic water systems
in Contra Costa County Sanitation District No. 15.
II. Financial Impact:
None
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The purpose of the hearing is to allocate time for public input on the proposed merger concept
prior to commencement of the process. This scheduled hearing is not a legal requirement.
