SUBJECT: Approve and Authorize the Chairperson to Execute Program Supplement No. 011 for the
Overlay of Various County Roads.
Project Nos.: 0662-6134082, 6R4083, 6134084, 6R4087, 6R4100.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
1. Recommended Action:
Approve and Authorize the Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors to execute Program
Supplement No. 011 which provides $357,038.00 in State/Local Transportation funds for
construction, construction engineering and contingencies for the overlay of various County
roads.
II. Financial Impact:
Program -Supplement No. 011 provides reimbursement from State/Local Transportation
Partnership funds for 22 percent of the County's estimated costs for these projects. The
remaining 78 percent of the funding will be provided by the Return to Source Measure"C"funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
On June 26, 1990 the Board of Supervisors approved and authorized the Public Works Director
to apply for Senate Bill 300 funds for various road improvement projects.
On February 12, 1991 the Board approved State-Local Entity Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5928
between the County and the California State Department of Transportation.
1V. Consequences of Negative Action:
The County will not receive State/Local Transportation Partnership funds for this project.
