In the Matter of Amending )
Personnel Management Regulations ) RESOLUTION NO. 91/65
Section 1106 and 1107 )
The Personnel Director has requested and the County Administrator has
recommended that Section 1106 (Suspension) and Section 1107 (Suspension Due to
Pending Criminal Charges) be amended and repealed respectively since they are
in conflict with a County merit system employee's rights under court
interpretation of Labor Code Section 432.7 (b); and
Corresponding sections in all existing memoranda of understanding between the
County and recognized employee organizations having been repealed: NOW
THEREFORE;
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT:
1. Effective February 1, 1991, Personnel Management Regulations Section 1106
(Suspension) is amended as indicated and Section 1107 (Suspension Due to
Pending Criminal Charges) is repealed in its"entirety.
1106. "Suspension. Suspensions are without pay and shall be for cause
or disability.
