HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01081991 - H.D H.D ( 1) THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on January 8, 1991 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson, Powers NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None --------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: Board Meeting Schedule As recommended by Supervisor Powers, the Board this day .APPROVED the schedule for Board meetings for 1991: 1 . Closed Sessions will be scheduled at 10 _a.m. on the second, third, and fourth Tuesdays of the month. On the first Tuesday of each month, the Closed Session shall be scheduled at 12 p.m. 2. Board meetings falling on the fifth Tuesday of a month are tentatively cancelled unless special circumstances require the Board to meet: April 30, 1991 July 30 , 1991 October 29, 1991 (The Board will meet on January 29, 1991, to consider adoption of the Countywide General Plan. ) 3 . The Board established -a two-week vacation schedule commencing the week of August 18, 1991, or following the adoption of the County Budget. Prior to ordering a study, new program or added work to the staff of Contra Costa County from a Board of Supervisors Order, upon its own initiation or upon recommendations from others, a. Fiscal Impact Statement (FIS) shall be prepared by the County Administrator. 2 . The FIS shall include the following information: - the department or branch of County Government to which it is assigned; - The individual(s) within the branch or department to whom it should be assigned. - The amount of hours estimated to carry out the effort, including all staff time (main staff and support staff) . - A statement that there is enough time available or can be made available to complete any work, including estimated overtime work. If not enough staff time, what other work will be delayed. An estimated cost of the study and program if implemented.
