SUBJECT; Closed Session
The Chairman announced that a closed session would be
held in accordance with the parameters as set forth in the
attached announcement.
At 10 :30 A.M. the Board recessed into closed session in
Room 105 of the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez .
At 11 : 30 A.M. the Board reconvened and continued with
the regular agenda.
At 1: 15 P.M. the Board again recessed into closed
session in Room 105 in accordance with the parameters set forth in
the attached announcement.
At 2: 30 P.M. the Board reconvened and continued with the
regular agenda.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT - February 26 , 1991
Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in all of its
capacities )
AA=1 . This Board will hold a closed session with its designated
representatives concerning employee salaries and compensation and
to consider employee appointment, employment, evaluation of
performance, or dismissal .
BB=1 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code S 54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(b) Significant exposure to litigation.
(c) Decided or deciding to initiate litigation.
CC=1 . This Board will hold a closed session pursuant to Government
Code § 54956 . 8 concerning real property negotiations . The real
property which the negotiations may concern is the appropriately
thirteen acres parcel located immediately northeast of the
intersection of Concord Avenue and John Glenn Drive at Buchanan
Field, Concord. The party with whom the County' s negotiators may
negotiate is Reynolds & Brown, Inc .
DD=1 . This Board will hold a closed session concerning pending
litigation pursuant to Government Code S 54956 . 9 , subdivision:
(a) Litigation initiated formally. The titles of the
litigation are:
1 . City of Pittsburg v. Contra Costa County
2 . City of Pleasant Hill v. Contra Costa County
3 . Orange County Employees Assn . v. County of Orange
THIS MEMORANDUM IS CONFIDENTIAL. (Work-Product Rule) . Pursuant
to Government Code S 6254 . 1 , its disclosure may not be compelled
until the pending litigation described above has been finally
adjudicated or otherwise settled.
