HIGH RISK INFANT FOLLOWUP PROGRAM
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
TITLE: Program Coordinator - Public Health Program Specialist I
TYPICAL TASKS: Under the direction of the Program Director.
1. Provide administrative support to the program to include the following:
a. Provide liaison between the State and local program.
b. Submit required reports to State and County.
c. Develop budget and contract with State MCH Branch each year and
monitor both.
d. Oversee submission of individual enrollment forms.
e. Continue to develop computer program and gather and analyze
appropriate statistical information.
f. Supervise clerical personnel of the program.
2. Act as liaison between this program in County Governments and similar
programs at the Regional Center, County Schools and other private non-
profit agencies, through the Interagency Council of infant services.
3. Provide leadership in program development activities as appropriate.
4. Analyze program needs and prepare grant applications, contracts, etc. ,
as appropriate to carry out program goals.
5. Provide clinical consultation and direct service for program clients
in early developmental intervention.
