for County Office Purposes

RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase from Vista Oaks, a California limited partnership for County
office purposes, the real property described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto, for a price not 4r.
to exceed $7,000,000, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Second t==
Modification to Lease agreement between the County of Contra Costa and Vista Oaks, F
a California limited partnership, dated February.27, 1990, which is a fair and reasonable r yP
price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the General Services Department.
This Board will meet on March 19, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice In the Contra Costa
Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention to
purchase from Vista Oaks, a California limited partnership, for a price not to exceed
$7,000,000, the property known as 40 Douglas Drive, Martinez, California, with buildings
containing approximately 34,500 square feet of floor space plus parking on approximately
1.52 acres of land and more particularly described in Resolution No. 91/ 95 of the
Board and will meet at 11:00 a.m. on March 19, 1991, In its Chambers, County
Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the
purchase.

The land referred to herein is situated in the State of California, County of Contra Costa,
City of Martinez, and is described as follows:
Parcel One:
A portion of Lot 3 of the Amended Map of Subdivision 6265, filed October 19, 1983, in
Book 274 of Maps, at Page 1,. Contra Costa County Records, described as follows:
Commencing at the most easterly corner of said Lot 3; thence along the southeast line
of said Lot 3 south 530 04' 05"west, 228.00 feet; thence south 610 03' 07" west, 91.39 feet
to the point of beginning for this description; thence from said point of beginning south
610 03' 07" west, 285.71 feet; thence north 670 29' 47" west, 57.91 feet; thence north 150
56' 18" west, 117.83 feet to a point on a curve and being on the south right of way line
of Douglas Drive; thence along said south right of way line and being a nontangent curve
to the right from which the center bears south 670 00' 24" east having a radius of 160.00
feet, through a central angle of 340 22' 48", an arc length of 96.01 feet; thence tangent to
the last curve north 57°22' 25" east, 192.51'feet; thence north 540 10' 20" east, 14.05 feet;
thence leaving said south line of Douglas Drive south 240 41' 00" east, 89.31 feet; thence
south 360 55' 55" east, 134.03 feet to the point of beginning.

RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase from the Bank of the West, a California Banking Corporation
for County office purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for
a total purchase price of $6,621,320, which sum Includes the total cost of tenant
Improvements constructed, or to be constructed, by the seller as a condition of the
purchase, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Lease agreement between
the County of Contra Costa and the Bank of the West, a California Banking Corporation,
dated January 22, 1991, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said
agreement is on file in the General Services Department.
This Board will meet on March 19, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Contra Costa
Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.

price of $6,621,320, which sum includes the total cost of tenant improvements
constructed, or to be constructed, by the seller as a condition of the purchase, the
property known as 50 Douglas Drive, Martinez, containing approximately 90,000 square
feet of building floor space on approximately 3.2 acres of land and more particularly
described in Resolution No. 91/ 96 of the Board and will meet at 11:00 a.m. on
March 19, 1991, .in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street,
Martinez, California, to consummate the purchase.
