Conference designate a representative from one of the cities
in the County for the third city seat on the Homeless
Advisory Committee. This seat should be filled by an
individual from a city which is impacted by or is perceived
to be impacted by issues of homelessness.
BACKGROUND:
On August 21, 1990 the Board of Supervisors approved
recommendations from our Committee on the Homeless Advisory
Committee. The appointments which have been made to date leave
several seats vacant. The above recommendations will fill two of
those seats and initiate actions to fill the remaining city seat.
With the approval of these actions there will still be the
following vacancies:
* One consumer seat.
* One city seat, pending action by the Mayors' Conference.
* The Legal Services Foundation seat.
