Alternatives
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S'). '& BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Authorize the Chair to execute the CDBG Program Project Agreement
with the Battered Women's Alternatives implementing activity 16-54
Transitional Shelter with a payment limit of $25, 000 reallocated
from the Housing Assistance Development Fund.
FISCAL IMPACT
None (100% HUD Funds)
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
This . agreement will augment other funding necessary to pay City of
Concord fees which are holding up the opening of the 16 unit
transitional shelter located on Grant Street, Concord. This
shelter will function as transitional housing for battered womwn
and their children. fees
