As a model program, the Born Free Project seeks to demonstrate the
viability of directly integrating recovery services into the
provision of prenatal' health care. The primary goals of the
project are to decrease the prevalence of substance abuse among
pregnant women and new mothers, and to increase the number of
intact, recovering families.
