Bragdon (J�„ „,�urtY„ Director of Community Development l DATE: September 25, 1990 SUBJECT: Hearing on Rezoning- Application 12897-RZ to rezone 5.6 acres of land from' General Agricultural District (A-2) to Single Family Residential District (R-12) located at 12301 Knox Avenue, in the Oakley area, filed by .Bellecci and Associates (Applicant) and David Mariano (Owner (APN 041-030-034) . SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) is BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Accept the environmental documentation prepared for this project as being adeqaute. 2. Approved RezoninglApplication 12897-RZ as recommended by the East County Regional Planning Commission. 3. Adopt the East County Regional Planning Commission's findings as set forth in Resolution No. 53-1990 as the determination for these actions. 4 . Introduce the ordinance giving effect to the aforesaid rezoning, waive reading and set forth date for adoption of same. l { CONTINUED ON ATTACHMENT: YES SIGNATURE• RECOMMENDATION OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMU21DATION OF BOARD COMMITT APPROVE OTHER SIGNATURE(S) : ACTION OF BOARD ON October '16, 1990 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED X O'T'HER X On October 9 ' 1990, the Board of Supervisors continued to this date the hearing on recommendation of the East County Regional Planning Commission on the request ( 2897-RZ) of Bellecci and Associates (applicants) and David Mariano (owner) to rezone land from General Agricultural District (A-2) to Single Family Residential District (R-12) in the Oakley area. Mary Fleming, Community Development Department, presented the staff report on the request before the Board, describing the proposed site, General Plan consistency, the Negative Declaration on the project, and she commented on the staff recommendation that the Board accept the environmental documentation as being adequate, approve the rezoning application, adopt the East County Regional Planning Commission' s findings and introduce the ordinance. Supervisor Torlakson requested clarification on the inclusion of the Oakley Municipal Advisory Council' s conditions. Karl Wandry, Community Development Department, responded that the conditions were intact in the recommendation. 1. The public hearing was opened and the following person appeared to speak: Frank Bellecci,' Bellecci and Associates, 2552 Stanwell Drive, Concord, applicant, spoke in favor. The public hearing was closed. Supervisor Torlaksbn moved approval with all the Oakley Municipal Advisory Council' s conditions incorporated in the final approvals. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that recommendations 1, 2, 3 , and 4 are APPROVED; and as in recommendation 4, Ordinance No. 90-97 is INTRODUCED, reading waived, and October 23, 1990 is set for adoption of same.
