HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10161990 - 1.9 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on October 16, 1990 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson and Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor .Powers ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Completely Close a portion of Yale Avenue and . Cambridge Avenue, in the Kensington Area. The Public Works Director having reported that prior approval has been granted to Pacific Gas and Electric Company to completely close, except for emergency traffic and local traffic, Yale Avenue between Oberli Avenue and Princeton Avenue; and Cambridge Avenue between Wellesley Avenue and Beloit Avenue on working days between 8: 00 a.m. and 4: 30 p.m. for the period of September 27, 1990 through November 30, 1990 for the purpose of installing a gas line and laterals subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighborhood streets. . 2 . All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Warning Signs, Lights and Devices; and the County Manual of Warning Signs, Lights and Devices; 3 . The Contractor shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the action taken by the Public Works Director is APPROVED.
